Kay O'HalloranKay O’Halloran teaches systemic functional linguistics (SFL) and multimodal discourse analysis in the postgraduate modules Linguistic Theories and Frameworks (EL5881) and Explorations in Applied Linguistics: Multimodality (EL5270).  She teaches SFL in the Honours module Topics in English Language: Systemic Functional Grammar (EL4880).  In addition, Kay O’Halloran has taught Level 2000 and 3000 courses on SFL and social semiotics, including Language, Society and Identity (EL3251).  Kay O’Halloran has supervised over 40 Honours, MA and PhD students completing research projects in SFL and multimodal analysis.  She published six papers by her postgraduate supervises in O’Halloran, K. L. (ed) Multimodal Discourse Analysis (2004/2006).
