Subject Description
In a nutshell, Critical Thinking and Writing is a module created in response to the critical need for students to learn how to think clearly, and the continuing concern about the need to write and speak effectively.
It is a course which fosters the critical thinking, reading and writing skills needed for their success in the university and in the engineering profession. Learners are encouraged to understand, analyze and respond to the written ideas of others. They simultaneously practise writing approaches typical of the academic and professional settings: exposition. evaluation, analysis, argumentation and research.
