A. Assessment Method and Tutorial Classes

The objectives of tutorial classes are to:

1. Enable students to relate and apply their knowledge of Construction Technology to real life problems.

2. Encourage students to conduct research work into the subject of Construction Technology.

3. Allow students the opportunities to present solutions pertaining to Construction Technology problems.

Each student will propose a tutorial question for approval by the lecturer. A list of possible tutorial questions is provided as a guide (click here). Each student is required to submit a comprehensive report by  Week 10.  As part of continuous assessment, the report constitutes 40 per cent of the final examination marks. The mark will be posted by Week 12. 

60% of the assessment will be allocated to an open-book final examination.
