Policies

Attendance

Tutorial attendance is crucial to our learning together. If you have a problem in coming to class meetings, please discuss this with the tutor or lecturer for that week, and if you have medical or personal problems, let him or her know in advance. Arrive on time, and participate as actively as you can. Tutorial and lecture participation will be taken into account in your overall assessment.

Deadlines

Please submit your assignment in  soft copy unless otherwise requested. Upload a soft copy to the module workbin via IVLE; you'll find two different workbins, each for one tutorial group. Make sure you get the right tutorial group. Please do not email the assignment as an attachment to your tutor directly: this will clog up your tutor's mailbox, and it's possible the assignment may go missing in cyberspace.

Missed deadlines may result in deduction of grade points on assignments. If you are having personal or health problems, talk to your lecturer before the assignment is due, not on or after the due day itself.
