In this last class I'd like to do two things: to talk for about half an hour to pull things together, and then to conduct a feedback exercise. What I have done the last few times I've offered the module is to then take the class out to dinner. However, our class is so big this time that I think this won't work logistically.
My suggestion is thus this: we start a little later than usual, at 6.30. This will allow us to get an early dinner before class, and solve the problem of the 6-9 "hunger gap"! I'd anticipate that we'd be finished by about 7.30. Those of you who'd like to can then decamp with me to the new NUSS Guildhouse (a five minute walk across campus) for a drink in the bar: you can unwind after the stress of writing the papers, while I can fortify myself to mark them.
