IVLE Posting 5

Make your posting any time after the first lecture and before the second meeting on new media; we hope to have a couple of rather famous Singapore bloggers to come and talk to us in the second session. Consider any of the questions below, or feel free to develop a blog-related topic of your own.

1. Do you regularly contribute to or visit any particular blogs? What work of representation do you think the specific blog you are interested in does?

2. Comment on any of the controversies [either those mentioned in the lecture or others that you have heard of] arising from blogging, file sharing or podcasting. What's your position? And what does the controversy itself tell us about the work of representation new media does?

3. Respond to, develop, or critique a point made in the lecture which you'd like discussed more.

4. Respond to a classmate's posting.
