[ Introduction and Description | Schedule and Readings | Assessment and Policies | Related Resources ]You can sign up for class discussion topics in groups of two or three, depending on class size, as soon as you're in your tutorial groups, via the " project group" function on IVLE.
For the discussion itself, you will have about 25 minutes of classroom time out of a two-hour tutorial meeting. Your tutor may give you guidance on the format of the discussion s/he prefers, but one key requirement is interactivity. Thus while you can talk in lecture mode briefly, you need also to devise strategies for interactivity when you solicit discussion from members of the class. You may want to meet up with your tutor week or so before your discussion is held in order to plan what you do. Above all, you need a clear pedagogical objective.
