There will be no specific readings for the introductory week. You can prepare by exploring the web site, reading ahead, and preparing any questions you have about the module.
It would also be useful for you to post an introduction to yourself in the general discussion section of the IVLE web site: in particular, we'd be interested in finding out what Singapore Literature you've read or studied before, and whether you have interests in related areas--postcolonial literature and theory, for example.
