Course AE-Week Instructions - What you're expected to do

 

·       There will be no lecture on Tuesday 6 October. Instead each student in EN3262 is to upload onto IVLE a short (100-200 word) account based on the question below. This is to be done any time during 6-10 October.

·       We live in a contemporary world that is often described as globalized and hybridized. Below are six links to online videos. Using a good internet connection, access any one and watch and listen to the talk/interview and then write a short account of what you found useful from that video in terms of understanding how contemporary cultures and societies can be described as postcolonial and/or postmodern. What you have to indicate is your personal sense of how the speaker in the video throws fresh light on some aspect of contemporary history.

 

 

Choices: write a response to the experience of watching/listening to any ONE of the following talks/interviews (video durations vary from 50 mins to over 90 mins: so check that you have a good connection):
