Itinerary of the Trip to Xi’an, Tibet and Chengdu (for a group minimum of 10 pax)

Day 1 Beijing / Xi’an (L, D)

Flight Beijing/Xi’an.

Upon arrival in Xi’an, visit the Ancient City Wall, the Muslim Quarter and the Grand Mosque.

2 nights at specified hotel.

Day 2 Xi’an (B, L, D)

Full day excursion to the Terra Cotta Warriors and the Shaanxi Provincial Museum.

Day 3 Xi’an /Xining- Lhasa (B)

Transfer from hotel to airport for flight to Xi’ning.

Transfer from hotel to railway station for overnight train to Lhasa.

The Qinghai-Tiber railway is the highest railway in the world and most parts of it are 4000 meters above the sea level. Taking the luxury train from Xi’ning to Lhasa will give an exceptional experience of travel and enable you to see the magnificent landscape of the Tibetan Plateau.

Day 4 Lhasa (D)

Upon arrival in Lhasa, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

4 nights at specified hotel.

Day 5 Lhasa (B, L, D)

Excursion to Drepung Monastery and the Norbulinka.

Day 6 Lhasa (B, L, D)

Excursion to Jokhang Temple and the Sera Monastery.

Day 7 Lhasa (B, L, D)

Excursion to the Potala Palace and the Barkhor Street.

Day 8 Lhasa / Chengdu (B, L, D)

Transfer to airport for morning flight to Chengdu.

Upon arrival in Chengdu, visit the Giant Panda Research Centre.

3 nights at specified hotel.

Day 9 Chengdu (B, L, D)

Full day excursion to Sanxingdui Museum and the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project.

Day 10 Chengdu (B, L, D)

Excursion to Mt. Leshan for the Giant Buddha.

Day 11 Chengdu / Beijing (B)

Visit Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Area in the morning.

Transfer to airport for flight to Beijing in the afternoon.

Under own arrangement upon arrival in Beijing.
