Guide to Projects

Projects will require students to initiate a critical enquiry into a film or films and an historical issue or concern.

The projects will involve group discussions, facilitated by IVLE discussion forums.

The projects will be assessed individually. (40%)

Likewise student participation in the group discussion will be assessed individually. (10%)

At the same time each group will receive a group mark, with the total group mark allocated  to individual students based on performance. (10%)

That is if the group as a whole is assessed at 70% (7 out of 10) and there are ten members, the group can use the formula: Grade x Number of members = total marks. (7 x 10 = 70) Marks  then allocated to individuals according to contribution as long as the total = 70.
