As a first step identify five or six key concepts from the reading.
Why do you think that a module that seeks to understand American Business and Technology in the twentieth and twenty first centuries starts with an examination of events in the last years of the eighteenth and early years of the nineteenth centuries?
Can you see any similarities between the processes Hounshell sketches and the business situation now?
