Discussion Questions:

1) Defenders of media violence argue that people who conduct research about "violence" sometimes do not define it realistically. As a researcher how would you define media violence? Why?

2) Is it ethical to pressure mass media organizations to alter their activities, or is it an infringement of their First Amendment rights?

3) What does it say about the USA that one of the main arguments against pornography is that it demeans women?
