Discussion Questions:

1) What are the prospects for an open world economy in the wake of the terror attack of September 11, 2001?

2) Barry Lynn criticises globalism. What is his argument against globalism?

3) Is Lynn's argument valid?

4)If the US adopted the approach suggested by Lynn what would the ramifications be for countries like Singapore?

5) Lynn's article contains a description of the way many leading global corporations do business. What is the main feature of this system and what ramifications does it hold for global business?
