Applying for Course E-Mail Account
In addition to the personal user-ID given to every staff member, academic staff members
can now request for an extra NUSNET/Outlook account for their dealings with
students. Called Course E-Mail Accounts, they will be useful in facilitating
e-mail correspondence with your student and providing you with additional resources
to store your files relating to the various modules you are teaching. To apply
for this extra computer account, complete and submit the electronic form given below.
The user-ID given, cosxxxxx, will have the prefix cos followed by the
same characters xxxxx as in your personal NUSNET account. For example,
if you teach two courses ec1001 and ec1002 and your user-ID is ecsravi@nus.edu.sg,
then your course e-mail account will be cosravi@nus.edu.sg. Only one
course e-mail account is given irrespective of the number of courses you
teach. This course e-mail account is permanent, i.e it can only be removed with
your consent.
Disadvantage
An additional e-mail account to manage.
